ZAMBRANO AT TICTAC

A documentary of Contemporary dance, a short film that portrays David Zambrano and his work in Tic Tac art center, Brussels BE.

Daniele Bianco, participating in febbruray 2019 at the Flying Low & Passing Through workshop, manages to capture the emotions and intense experience with the eyes and body of a neophyte of the practice of Zambrano. The story of something that is more than a dance course but a meeting between people from all over the world.

David Zambrano has been a monumental figure in the international dance community for more than 35 years. He has taught his own approach to dance in more than 75 countries and has performed at hundreds of venues across the world.

His pieces range from set choreography, structured improvisation, and pure improvisation. Born in Venezuela, Zambrano spent 15 years in New York and now lives in between Amsterdam and Brussels.
